Last weekend the last race of the French Championships took place in Essay.

Our drivers had to struggle especially with the tyres. The conditions were not the best for Bridgestone tyres, due to cold temperatures, humidity and the local track conditions.

3 SWISS HUTLESS drivers competed in category ICA.

Harmen Oomkens made good results in the heats and was always up front. With this performance he was able to start in 4 th position in the pre-final, where he unfortunately had a tyre damage due to a crash and had to give up the race.

This however did not deter him from putting his best foot forward in the final, where he finished 16 th .

Bressaglia

François Peuriere showed a terrific performance in the final by catching up 17 places and finishing 5 th .

Our guest driver Jacky Foulatier , big boss of the kart magazine KartMag, caused a sensation with his spectacular starts. Even though he did not qualify for the final he could be proud of finishing 9 th among the top 10 in the Federation Cup.

Jérôme Demay was the only driver in category ICC this time. He just missed to qualify among the top 10 coming in 11 th .

On the other hand he can be extremely proud of his championship result. Jérôme finished his first racing season in ICC in 8 th position.

In category Elite 5 SWISS HUTLESS drivers fought for points.

Gianni Gazzurelli had to wrestle with a technical problem and dropped out of the the final at an early stage.

Tomi Limmonen , especially travelled to Essay from Finland. He is an ICA driver who races for our Finish agent MPT and used this opportunity to meet with the Formula A atmosphere. Tomi gained a lot of experience during this weekend and had no problem competing against the other drivers.

Charles Antoine Geneste unfortunately could not finish the season according to his ideas and dropped out of the final race.

Bas Lammers had a crash in the prefinal and had to start off at the tail. Nevertheless he caught up 12 places and crossed the finishing line in 13 th position.

Darren Bressaglia demonstrated a faultless race, obviously everything was lined-up perfectly for him during this racing weekend. He finished on the podium for the first time during this season.
