Swiss Hutless drivers on the European Championship Qualification
The qualification races for the European Championship of categories KF2 and KF3 were taking place last week-end in three different regions.
Teemu Petjoi, who is actually on 2nd place in Finnish KF3 Championship, was participating for the first time at an international race and surprised everybody by his amazing performance. In the final the youngster convinced with very fast lap-times and a great catch up. Finally he arrived 6th and was easily qualified for the European Championship in Sarno!

Also the Swiss driver Yves von Aesch convinced during the whole race-event with fast laps and very intelligent driving. In the first heat Yves finnished 2nd, in the second heat he made 5th and in the third heat he unfortunately had to give up the race after a crash. So he started on 20th position for the final 1. But nothing could stop him from taking his ticket for Sarno! He achieved his goal by arriving 9th.

Jeffrey Schmidt, who was always in the top-10 during the heats, qualified easily for the final, but was then really unlucky. Only after 200 meters he was pushed out of the track and could not restart the race. Jeffrey was very disappointed about his dream not coming true.
Bad luck also for our girl-power duo Jasmin Preisig and Andrina Gugger. Jasmin missed the qualification for the European Final for only one place. She arrived 26th in the final and only the 25 first receive the ticket to Sarno. Andrina, who prepared very well this important race by driving on rubber-conditions at the German Championship, was very disappointed when she had several accidents during the heats. Therefore she was not able to qualify for the final.
Congratulations to Teemu and Yves for their great performance! We will cross our fingers for the race in Sarno.
