The last race of the French Championship was taking place in the Normandy in changing weather conditions.

Swiss Hutless was represented in every category.

Category Junior:
Alex Fontana made his first steps under the official structure. Of course he had a lot of things to learn, but his confidence inproved in every heat. In his first race of the French Championship he qualified for the final and finished in 22nd place.
Toomas Heikkinen has already more experience, due to the fact that he was driving every importnant Junior-race this year. All this collected experience paid off this race week-end with good rankings during the heats. In the final Topi unfortunately dropped out.

Category Espoir:
Michael Ryall showed his capability in category Espoir. Although he had some problems in the beginning, he was ameliorating in every heat.
In prefinal he came in 3rd and secured a perfect starting position for the finale, of which he took advantage – he could jump on the podium on the third step. Congratulation for his first podium on French territory.

Category 125:
Manuel Renaudie was driving constantly the same lap-times as the first ones. Due to a crash in the second heat he had to start from the 15th position in the prefinal, where he arrived 13th by taking 5 penality points for an advanced start. In the final he passed the finishing line on 8th position.
Pierre Ragues and Maxime Le Ber, from Sofira Racing, were fast, but had some bad-luck during the whole race-meeting. That’s why they could not confirm their good performance over the week-end.

Category Elite:
Alban Varutti gave his maximum after a bad time qualification (starting place 18 for all 3 heats). In every heat he was in the front positions after a few laps. Thanks to these good results he could start 2nd for the prefinal, which he finished in fourth position.
After the final Alban got unfortunately disqualified because of a rather rude overtaking of a competitor.
