The third and last run of the Formula A European Championships took the kart squad to Braga (Portugal).
11 of totally 54 drivers were SWISS HUTLESS pilots.
During the time practice Randy Bakker again performed very well coming in 2 nd , which performance he confirmed finishing 2 nd , 4 th , 2 nd and 7 th in the heats. He started in 7 th position for the final 1. After having just missed the podium in Sarno coming in 4 th , Randy seized the opportunity this time and crossed the finishing line in 3 rd position. In final 2 he only came in 5th.

In the second final however Damien Claverie was on the podium. In the first final he gained 11 positions and finished 8 th . In the second final he fought a good race with breathtaking persuits and finally also came in 3 rd .
Thanks to his 2 nd position in the 4 th heat Oliver Oakes qualified for the final in spite of a crash out in the 2 nd heat. In final 1 he caught up 7 positions and came in 13 th . In the second final he unfortunately crashed out again.
Kevin Cuoco was down with influenza during the whole weekend, which made him considerably weak. Nevertheless in final 1 he was able to finish 11 th .
Pierre Combot unfortunately dropped out in the first final and had to start the final at the tail. Nevertheless he caught up til position 15.
Darren Bressaglia could not qualify for the final and finished 19 th and 18 th .
Simona De Silvestro missed the final by only one point and could not qualify even though she finished 9 th in the last heat.
Also the Grabher Brothers, Pierre Ragues and Brice De Gaye had to fight with crash outs during the heats.
Michi Grabher tried very hard in his last heat, came in 9 th but in the end none of the above drivers were able to qualify.
Nick De Bruijn made the European Chamiopnship title finishing before Sauro Cesetti and Davide Fore. Congratulations!
